NIGHTLY

The chirping crickets,
A purply sky,
A moonless night,
Beauty is nigh,

WHISPERS

The sun kissed my face,
It played me gently with grace,

The sky was blue and white,
A perfect union of dark and bright,

THE KNOWLEDGE

I am the glowing phoenix, the iolite phoenix,
the blue flame, the evolving child;
I am eternity summed up in the finite,

The little lights I've seen, the little winds I felt,

The lightening flash,
No thunders splash,
And then it comes,

Time has not been with me,

As if twenty four hours isn't enough,

Nights when the sky looks old,of the stars bereft, the moon gone,
